Absorbing Foam

Guanxu® GEP is a rigid polypropylene-based microwave absorbing foam engineered to deliver customized electromagnetic absorption performance across an ultra-wide frequency range of 30 MHz to 110 GHz, tailored to customer-specific shapes and requirements.
Standard color is black, with a smooth surface finish. Product dimensions and thickness are fully customizable. Its wave impedance can be gradient-designed to optimize broadband absorption. Additionally, GEP can be integrated into multifunctional composites—such as ballistic-resistant stealth materials—without compromising performance.
The material meets the stringent NRL-8093 (Test Methods 1, 2, and 3) requirements for absorber performance and exhibits an oxygen index of >26 ± 0.3%, indicating excellent flame resistance.
